The World's Longest Train 🚂

I traveled all the way to Mauritania to ride the iron ore train. My dream came true when we boarded a wagon filled with fresh iron ore, ready for an unforgettable journey 🇲🇷

As the train drove through the Sahara Desert, I realized this was the ultimate adventure. I even spotted some camels along the way! 🐫

The iron ore train, the longest in the world, stretches up to 3 kilometers. I was soon covered in iron ore dust, but I was so amazed that I didn't even care until I had to wash everything after the ride 😵

As darkness fell, I got ready for the night under a sky full of stars. The journey to the port of Nouadibou, which lasted 20 hours, was a crazy, unforgettable experience! ✨

I rode the Iron Ore Train in Mauritania 🇲🇷

I had the incredible opportunity to ride the world's longest train through the Sahara Desert 🚂

Joined by three fellow travelers, we traveled for two days to the iron ore mines of Zouérat. Once there, we climbed aboard one of the freshly loaded iron ore wagons, super excited but also slightly worried about the 20-hour ride through the desert ahead 🏜️

As we rode through the Sahara, iron ore dust covered our bodies and belongings, making this a unique and unforgettable experience 🤩

This is Atar, one of the biggest cities in the country. Dusty streets, goats roaming freely, and donkeys are used to transport local goods.
It's like stepping back in time 🐐

Luckily, we discovered a peaceful spot outside the city center, a perfect escape from the madness. We dipped in the pool and played games with the locals 🌴

Tomorrow, we go deeper into the desert for the biggest adventure of my life 🤯

Men and women typically sit separately, but this brave lady even took pictures with us. She's a true legend! 📸

Despite a sandstorm and the guy beside us praying nonstop, the trip was epic. We saw breathtaking views of the Sahara Desert 🏜️

In just a few seconds, the whole area was covered in spooky darkness, and we could feel the strong sand and wind hitting our vehicle 💨

It's distressing to witness these goats unable to move and being treated like cargo. It's a stark reminder of the different ways we view and treat animals around the world 🌍

They are just pieces of luggage tied onto the luggage rack 💼
