Can I Visit Every Country in the World?

This page is an overview of the countries I have traveled to. The list includes every country I’ve set foot in, from only a couple of hours in North Korea to several months in Colombia. Because I only started traveling the world in the last decade, most countries have been visited in the past ten years.

I started with the low-hanging fruit in Europe, where I could easily visit over twenty countries. Then I slowly started discovering Asia and the Middle East. More recently I have been traveling to America and Africa, which has been more complicated as those countries are often harder to reach.

There are so many more destinations to discover, which really makes me excited about what’s coming. I’ll update this page regularly with new countries I’ve visited. Let me know in the comments which country I should visit next!

A goal, not an obsession

One of my dreams is to visit every country on our planet. I believe it’s a dream I can accomplish. It’s not my primary goal because I don’t want it to be my main focus while traveling. But I think it’s an excellent motivation to visit countries that are not so popular. So far I haven’t been disappointed yet.

To my – very poor – geographic knowledge, Cyprus is in Europe (was there in January). Tip from your godfather : your next trip should be to Liechtenstein. I wonder if Mexico doesn’t belong to North-America. See you !

Cyprus oei.. Daar is iets fout gelopen. Indeling Amerika moet ik eens herbekijken, is soms wat ingewikkeld. Mexico is inderdaad Noord-Amerika. Nog niet in Liechtenstein geweest! Bedankt voor de tips!

You’ve darkened Groenland without mentioning it. If you believe it’s Denmark, then – maybe – you should not mention Gibraltar. Is’t it the same ? Latin-America is in fact South-America, you visited only Colombia. Other countries are in Central-America. Have fun !

De inkleuring ging automatisch via een website voor het kaartje. Intussen ook Guyana, Suriname en Brazilië in Zuid-Amerika!
